Susan M. Hunter, Esq., is the founder of Hunter Estate & Elder Law, currently with offices in Fishers, Rockville and Greenwood, Indiana. Licensed in both Indiana and Illinois, Susan has dedicated her career to helping families through life’s difficult transitions. A national coach and speaker in the fields of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid, Probate, Team Building and Practice Management, she is also the author of "Breaking Through: Busting the Generational Barriers."
A graduate of Hanover College (BA) and Salmon P. Chase College of Law (1996), she is also a member of the American, Indiana and Illinois Bar Associations, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Indiana State Guardianship Assn. and Lawyers With Purpose™, where Susan has had the privilege of helping to raise the industry standard by developing innovative and state-of-the-art programs for attorneys and their support teams who are pursuing a purposeful practice that focuses on the needs of the families they serve.
One of five children, Susan grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, moving to Indiana as a teen. Her large extended family instilled a strong sense of values that have infused her mission as a business owner and lifetime learner. Susan and her husband, Mark, enjoy traveling, golf and scuba, and make their home in Noblesville, Indiana with their rescued dogs, Wilbur, Willow and Wrigley.
